Lowered, Tinted and Tidy
Have you ever piloted a spaceship? This 2016 Cadillac Escalade is about as close as you can get. The on-board technology is incredible. The interior is something you have to experience to understand. What was lacking from the factory, however, were the finishing touches.
At Sound Investment, we lowered the rear end a few inches, to counteract the rake that simply wasn’t needed in this smooth street machine. Now, the body sits just right on the factory wheels.
Next, we tinted the windows. The rear windows are far darker than the driver and passenger windows, and look fantastic when set off by the brilliant paint. Visibility isn’t a problem: this Escalade is loaded with side, front and rear-view cameras.
Inside, we made the center console more functional. From the factory, the center console storage area is like a large box. That makes it difficult to retrieve personal items quickly, without digging through clutter. Mike, our fabrication guru, constructed small liner tray that rests perfectly inside the factory storage area. The smooth lines and design of our tray echoes Cadillac’s design aesthetics.
